Personal and Family Background

Dr. Vander Broek is originally from the Okoboji area of northwest Iowa and has lived in Lincoln since 1975, following graduation from undergraduate college.  Jane grew up in the Lincoln area near Firth and is a graduate of Norris High School and Northwestern College.

Doug and Jane were married in 1976, and have two sons, and one daughter.  They love to travel (with or without the kids!), and are actively involved in activities related to the family, school, church, or various community organizations.  Doug and Jane also enjoy attending and supporting community musical and fine arts events.

As a runner throughout high school, college, and many years after, Doug experienced the benefits of chiropractic by getting relief from low back pain and headaches.  Several years ago, he transitioned from running to biking, and especially enjoys conditioning for long-distance rides such as the annual RAGBRAI in Iowa.
