Dr. Vander Broek awarded “Chiropractor of the Year”

LaVista, NE, August 2008-Dr. Vander Broek was named the 2008 “Chiropractor of the Year” by the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association at the annual August convention/seminar held in the new Embassy Suites convention center in LaVista.  The awards ceremony was part of the President’s Banquet held at the conclusion of the convention, at which Doc Sadler, UN-L men’s basketball coach, was the keynote speaker.  Doc Sadler provided colorful insight into UN-L basketball, and related how chiropractic has helped him personally.

 There are 469 licensed Doctors of Chiropractic in Nebraska, 411 of which are members of the NCPA.  The association provides continuing education for its members and advocacy for members and patients in the legislative and insurance arenas.  Dr. Vander Broek has served as a Board member for the past 4 years in varying capacities, and was re-elected for another two-year term. 

 The Chiropractor of the Year is granted “in recognition of distinguished service and tireless effort for the advancement of Chiropractic in Nebraska”.
